Inspired, Refined and Award-winning

Tom had idea for Doh’hut from a road trip down the West Coast of the USA where he was inspired by all the food trucks and street food.  Tom just had to think of an idea which was ‘British’ and something a little different so it could stand out from the crowd.

Donuts it was! After thinking back to his childhood and days of a student buying packs from the market every other day, with classics like raspberry jam, Tom thought what’s more British than a Raspberry Jam Donut?

Skip forward a year, Tom had a recipe, a brand and started to book in small events to try his luck selling his product.

Things quickly progressed & he moved with it. To keep up with the demand he invested in a food truck where he could make much more donuts made fresh at the events, rather than from his flat and parent’s house.

Skip forward another year and Tom and his team are competing in the British St. Food awards, as surprised as they were, they won the Northern Heat in Leeds & then were invited to compete in the national finals in London. They ended up winning the whole event being crowned 2018 Champions by the culinary legends Richard Corrigan & Gizzi Erskine. This led to them to travel the following weekend to Berlin for the European St food award finals, where they ended up winning best dessert.

Having established Doh'Hut in Leeds, Tom is now expanding the Brand across the UK and around the world with corporate & franchise locations in the UK and franchising around the World.

"Never ever write reviews but these were the best doughnuts ever. Had the savoury doughnut and lemon meringue doughnut and they were incredible; such generous sizes but super light and fluffy, not stodgy at ALL (also one of the best flat whites in Leeds imho). My only problem is that I didn’t discover them earlier ❤️"

"These doughnuts are truly unrivalled, the closest contender is Bread Ahead in London. Doh'Hut has created the perfect, light, airy, doughnut with just the right balance of flavours. I was staying at the hotel next door and walked in looking for a decent coffee, found an amazing coffee here BUT also found these amazing gems of absolute deliciousness. You should open a shop in London, I would be there every day."
